"Archbishop Desmond Tutu last week, in preparation for the 400,000 member in-the-street New York protest last Sunday, and the gathering at the U.N. last week, said the climate crisis has become the global human rights challenge of our time...He concluded, we can no longer tinker about the edges. We can no longer continue feeding our addiction to fossil fuel as if there is no tomorrow, for if that continues there will be no tomorrow. And the good news, and the energizing hope, is that we can pay attention. And we can soothe, and we can re-teach ourselves, and our planet, our loveli-ness."

Sermon by the Rev. Ed Bacon at All Saints Church, Pasadena, on St. Francis Sunday, September 28, 2014. Readings: Galatians 6:14-18 and Matthew 11:25-26, 28-30. Watch this sermon on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1Metqhx5hQ&feature=youtu.be.
